FDS Staff to Attend National Conference

Key executives from Florida Drug Screening, Inc (FDS) will be traveling to Seattle, Washington on April 15, 2004 for the annual Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) National Conference. Brenda Lawrence, Todd Shoulberg and industry consultant Bill Current will join FDS President Joseph F Reilly at this annual event.

DATIA’s 8th Annual Conference and Exposition – “Awaken Your Senses – Fresh Ideas for Drug and Alcohol Testing” – will be the drug and alcohol testing industry’s largest and most comprehensive annual industry event, providing attendees insight, information, and advocacy on issues that impact providers of drug and alcohol testing services. Each year new and more efficient ways of performing drug and alcohol testing are developed, new information is learned by industry professionals, and companies continue to look for ways to enhance the success of their business. This year’s agenda will focus on providing attendees with up-to-the-minute information on ways to not only increase the success of their company and career, but to be able to do so and still have time to enjoy life.

Top-level speakers from the industry will address the conference and interact with attendees to discuss these areas of crucial importance. The DATIA conference will provide the opportunity for individuals to learn from the experiences of other industry professionals on how to best implement drug and alcohol testing programs. DATIA’s unique and needed role as an educator for the industry ensures that the conference will stand up to its much-earned reputation with an agenda that promotes learning from the experience of others in the industry.

Both FDS President Joseph Reilly and Vice President Todd Shoulberg will be among the featured speakers at this event. Reilly will assist with a special panel “Ask The Board”. Reilly serving on the DATIA Board of Directors, as Vice Chairman will join other DATIA Board members in a panel, which will draw on years of experience answering pressing questions concerning drug and alcohol testing. Shoulberg will join associate Lisa Acuff with a presentation entitled Creating and Maintaining Positive Client Relations. This session will show attendees how to educate and counsel clients with tact and foster relationships where the client sees providers as consultants rather than as lecturers or order takers.

Florida Drug Screening, Inc will also be exhibiting at the conference trade show in order to provide more information regarding FDS services including the FDS Reseller Program, MRO Service and Consulting Services.

The Reseller Program provides bundled Lab and MRO at a competitive price allowing service providers to concentrate on building their business while utilizing FDS as their back office for processing of testing. This program is offered with or without specimen collection. MRO only services are available for those who already have a favorable laboratory arrangement. Both of these programs utilize the latest in technology with electronic receipt of results from Labs and electronic reporting of results to clients. Our programs emphasize elimination of manual data entry and manual billing systems.

Our available consulting services include services from Joe Reilly FDS Company President and Bill Current, Industry Consultant. Mr. Reilly is available for various training projects as well as marketing and operational consulting on or off site. Mr. Current specializes in business development consulting for laboratories, suppliers and TPA's. Bill is available for marketing strategy development, group presentations, and writing projects with emphasis on policy development and industry market analysis.
